Andy is co-founder of PhixFlow and jointly responsible for managing the product strategy and architecture of PhixFlow, in addition to technical marketing.
The company was set up in February 2004 after Andy and business partner, David Coales, identified a need in the market for a platform that would manage some of the repetitive, manual office-based tasks and business processes that is are common practice in most organisations today. Their goal was to streamline and simplify complex, often inefficient, business processes through the creation of a flexible software platform.
Prior to starting PhixFlow, Andy held senior positions within product development and design, including designing the world’s first networked PC-based FX and MM trading system, used in Tokyo and subsequently around the world. He was later Director of Advanced Product Development for Cambridge-based Geneva Technology – one of the big success stories of the dotcom boom – and was part of the due diligence team during the sale of the company to Convergys in 2001.
Andy has an MA in Theoretical Physics from St John’s College, Cambridge. In his spare time he is an outdoor enthusiast and is frequently found running, cycling and competing in adventure races.
As co-founder and CEO of PhixFlow, David jointly manages the strategy and development of PhixFlow. He actively evaluates new technologies and capabilities for inclusion in the PhixFlow product suite. Responsible for PhixFlow’s corporate governance and overall strategy, David champions a customer and employee centric culture.
