We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative technical author/ copywriter to produce engaging reference guides and training material for our product.

Reporting to the User Experience Manager and working alongside the development team,  you will be responsible for delivering highly engaging, accurate and effective product and training material using a range of media including video.

Our aim is to enable a new user to configure a simple application within PhixFlow in under 30 minutes using our training resources.

About the role.

  • Designing, creating, and publishing all product and training materials
  • Organising the product and training material.
  • Understanding the PhixFlow low-code product to a highly proficient level to facilitate the production of coherent training resources.
  • Gathering and analysing the needs, and challenges, of the target audience.
  • Collaborating with developers and managers to clarify product changes that need to be communicated to users.
  • Working with third-parties to procure content.

About you.

We are looking for people who can solve complex customer problems so the ability to quickly understand the issues in new business areas and to design solutions logically is key. We look for: 

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree from a Russell-group or equivalent university.
  • A proven track record producing documentation and training courses.
  • Extensive experience working with a collaborative wiki tool such as Confluence.
  • The ability to design, create and produce training videos and illustrations.
  • A creative thinker who can produce innovative material for users.
  • A technical background.

In addition to the above, it would also be beneficial to have the following

  • Experience of a low-code application development platform.
  • Experience of WordPress.
  • Understand the fundamentals of databases, APIs and applications.
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training AET (Formerly PTLLS).
